Prerequisites
Interest in issues. The course is intended for all those interested in educational technologies who perceive themselves as beginners. Above all, it is suitable for students who do not have a Bachelor's degree at KISK. However, it is open to all MU students, especially from pedagogy oriented fields.

Course objectives
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to introduce students to the issue of online course creation - from its design and preparation to its realization. The student will acquire basic theoretical but also experiential practical basis, which will be able to apply in the creation of own courses or innovations. The course has the character of an interdisciplinary course concerning the design of services or data.
At the end of the course students should be able to:
  • Define online course goals and methods;
  • Design a course and choose an appropriate form;
  • Design a prototype and test it;
  • Design and perform basic simple evaluation;
  • Create your own simple online course

    Learning outcomes follow the objectives of the subject and its outline. Students will comprehensively acquire the tools necessary to create a simple online course as well as basic theoretical background and models of online education.

    • Examples of good practice elearnigu, web base courses, MOOC, Codeacademy, adaptable systems, so how nice it can be.
    • Definition and reflection on the specifics of online education
    • I. Research phase: finding your own inspiration for something nice
    • Educational goals and meaning of education, pedagogical paradigms, values
    • Educational methods in the online environment
    • Learning styles and procedures
    • Fact-based x Inquiry-based learning
    • Problem and project teaching in the online environment
    • Student-centered learning x content-oriented learning
    • LMSs
    • Work with   Moodle and one more LMS
    • Design methods, course definition
    • Examples of good practice: design and design
    • II. Research phase: design your own course, creating a concept
    • Concept evaluation and introduction to prototype creation
    • Basic educational objects; text support, wiki, discussion, portfolio, webinar, work with links, dictionaries, ...
