Course objectives
Introduction to the basics of Christian iconography.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- understand the images in New Testament Bible scenes and the most frequently depicted Christian saints
- describe these images
- determine the theme of image
- link the images of Christian saints with their historical context and place
