Course objectives
This course is open to second-year students onwards. It is taught in Italian and includes a theoretical part and practical exercises. During this semester narrative texts and text analysis techniques will be exploited. The students who enroll in the course will have to show knowledge of the above-mentioned techniques in order to use them for text analysis.Moreover, techniques for writing an academic text will be taught. At the end of the course, in order to obtain the credits, students will have to present the academic text.
Syllabus
  • Theory: the functions of the text; the narrative text (plot, space and time, narrator); a model for a text analysis; an Italian author of the XXth century. Practice: analysis of a literary text; how to write an academic text.
