Course objectives
The course is a continuance of a preceding course under the same name (Japanese Writing I.) from the previous semester intended for Japanese language master students. The objective of the course is to master basic Japanese characters, the knowledge of which will be indispensable in other Japanese language courses. Throughout the course students will learn more characters and their combinations, by means of which they will enlarge their vocabulary. Correct writing and reading of these characters will be a condition for further study. The course ends with a written examination, which will summarize the characters learned throughout the semester. Course attendance is compulsory.
