Course objectives
The main aim of the German teaching during the first two terms is to manage the basic German grammar, basic vocabulary for routine conversation and an introduction to the reading of technical texts.
The lessons are especially focused on morphological and syntactical phenomenons which appear in both older and newer German technical texts, the reading skills and application of the existent vocabulary for the speech acts. Attention is also paid to the training of the written expression, spelling system, and with respect to the branch mentioned, reading and writing in the neogothic cursive writing. Emphasis is also put on individual reading.
