Course objectives
Alternative Theatre - theatre as cultural and social phenomenom. Studio theatres of 70ties and 80ties. Role of such theatre in social liberational movemement and Velvet revolution.

  • -Enviromental Theatre (Welfare State Int.) -Augusto Boal and Invisible Threare - SouthAfrican Theatre against Apatheid (Space Theatre, Market Theatre, Pieter-Dirk Uys etc.) - Polish Students Theatres (STU Krakow, Teatr 8 dnia (Poznaň), Teatr 77 (Lodž), Kalambur (Wroclav) - role of theatre in russian society (Jurij Ljubimov and Taganka Theatre.) - Czech Alternative Theatre in european context and their role in democratisational movement
