Course objectives
Students will get an overview oh historical milestones in the development of Christianity since its emergence up to now; they will become familiar with the major figures in the history of Christianity; they will become familiar with some important concepts in the history of Christianity. they will learn to interpret selected texts in this field.

  • World Reformation: Martin Luther.
  • Catholic reform: Ignatius of Loyola.

Teaching methods
Lecture: theoretical exposition supplemented by images, discussions, tests of factual knowledge.
Assessment methods
Allowed up to 2 non-participation in lectures, 6 interim tests of factual knowledge of the subject matter (the total percentage lows. 60%), a paper in the range of 3-5 pages (subject agreement with the lecturer).
