Course objectives
Seminars will be primarily aimed at analyses and interpretations of works of North Czech literary school and Vladimír Páral. Attention will be also paid to the general social-historical context and critical reception. At the end of this course, the student will be able to understand a literary text; interpret works in their historical context; work creatively with secondary literature; clearly formulate scholarly conclusions based on available information; students will be able to think about literature critically. A part of this course is devoted to works from the list of required reading
