- Course objectives
- The target of the subject is learning the genre of polish historic film. Comparing the showed scenes with real historical truth would be the base for further discussion about relation between the historical film and its viewers. What expect society from the cinematografy , and how the cinematografy influences the society? How works with cinematografie the ruling regime, and create from historical films its propaganda? Which themes were popular in XX century and why? Is it thruth, the oppinion, that the director is doing historical themes, when he is not able to express the problems of his time?

- howing the film, short introducing of the film in lecture. Discussion about theoretical questons connected with film.

- regular attendance (1 absence are allowed). In case of 2 absences short essay.
