wider and deeper knowledge of Latin morphology and syntax; the ability to understand a complex Latin text; to discuss a chosen topic on one´s own

Teaching methods
The subject is taught as a SEMINAR. This interactive course applies the teaching methods used in modern languages, class participation and home preparation are therefore necessary.
Assessment methods
Requirements for successful completion of the course: regular class attendance (students may miss 3 classes altogether); passing the final test (passing limit 70%). To be allowed to take exam, students have to pass a colloquium on selected topic.
