Course objectives
The course introduces into the theory of communication and the theory of art; what is the difference between the meaning of a work of art and its "usage" in the broad sense. Examples are taken from the realm of theatre, plastic arts, and design.
Learning outcomes
A graduate will be able to apply concepts as: -denotation -connotation -semantic nest -pragmatic approach - three intentions etc.
