Course objectives
The aim of this course is to lead students to study other relevant languages of the Baltic region, especially German, Polish, Russian, Swedish, Danish, but also Latin and Old Slavonic. This course allows the application of knowledge of these languages acquired beyond the university curriculum, e.g. at a language school or through self-study.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course students should be able to demonstrate specific skills in communication in the chosen language of the Baltic region.
Syllabus
  • Before enrolling in the course, the student informs the tutor which of the Baltic languages he/she wants to study and what form of non-university education this study will take (language school or self-study). If the tutor approves the choice of language, he/she will then agree with the student on the expected outcome level in the language concerned.
