Teaching methods
Lectures, practice (translation, grammar exercises). Regular class attendance and homework are required.
Assessment methods
A condition for the completion of the course is the successful completion of the final written test (70%), which tests the knowledge from lessons 7-13 and 18-19 of the textbook. A dictionary can be used during the test.
To pass the test, students must complete at least two continuous tasks in the form of ROPOT. These are divided into two levels of difficulty, from each of which the student must choose at least one and complete it by the required deadline.
If a student fails to meet any of the deadlines for an intermediate assignment, he/she will have to complete a total of four tasks (two from each level) on the extra deadline. Students cannot register for the final test without completing the assignments.
Another condition for admission to the test is that attendance must be met (a maximum of two unexcused absences are allowed, and absences may be made up in another seminar group in a given week).
