Course objectives

Předmět shrnuje hlavní způsoby terénní práce geologa včetně přípravy do terénu. V terénních metodách je hlavní důraz kladen na geologickou dokumentaci, měření kompasem a geologické mapování.

Syllabus

• Used map projections and topographic map, preparation of topographic profile. Geological compass, orientation measurement. Geologic map, geologic map symbols. Some special geologic maps. Geological mapping, equipment for mapping. Geologic map interpretation, V-rule, three point problem, structure section. Geologicla bibliography. Some special methods.
