- The main objectives of the course are the following:
Speaking on Earth Science topics;
Understanding and analysing advanced texts on science; distinguishing facts from opinions;
Understanding lectures in fast English given by native speakers;
Giving main ideas, describing processes and systems;
Writing summaries and abstracts, CV and job application;
Explaining causes and effects; interpreting graphs;
Presenting field topics and research;
Consolidating terminology;

- Assessment methods
- Each course is finished by a credit test and a presentation. The passing grade of the credit test is 60%. The condition for a successful finishing of the course also includes 85% active attendance in the seminars, two revision tests, homeworks and saving ROPOTS on terms and definitions.
