- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basics of synthesis of inorganic nanoparticles, nanoparticle characterization methods, applications and potential pespektivami.
- Syllabus
- Basic properties of nanoparticles - NPs (electron structure, clusters, crystallography, magnetic and optical properties, thermodynamics, reactivity, phase transitions, ...). Synthesis NPs (bottom-up & down, synthesis of vapor phase pyrolysis, wet synthesis of precursor powder method, ...). Nanomaterials (inorganic substances nanoslitiny, quantum dots, pigments, nanocomposites, ...). Characterization of NPs (electron microscopy, spectral methods, thermal analysis, ...). Application NPs (sensors, catalysis, the mechanical properties of NPs, ...) Prospective application (nanotechnology, medicine, ...). Toxicology and Risk NPs.
