Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to understand and explain the basic terms used in ecology (i.e. ecology of individuals, populations, communities and ecosystems). In addition, they will understand basic concepts of ecology and will be able to show concrete examples from nature; will understand basic processes in nature and will acquire the diversity and functioning of major Central-European habitats and worldwide biomes.
