Course objectives
Problems of morphological description of minerals, their crystals and aggregates. Photodocumentation. Macro- and Microscopic study of minerals. Problems of X-Ray diffraction analysis, methods, STADI-P Diffractometer, Visual PowderX Software, PDF-1,-2 data. Crystal chemistry of minerals, clasification diagrams, empiric formulas. Genetic aspect of minerals, assemblages, paragenesis. New informations about topographical mineralogy of the studied areas.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to: - to effectively apply the methods and modern knowledge of mineralogical research in solving the topic of dissertation
