- Syllabus
- The part engaged in organic contaminants proceeds from specific problems of pollutant analysis and general schema of environmental sample analysis. Modern techniques of sample preparation and contemporary procedures of sample processing in analysis of organic contaminants in water, sediments, soil, and biota are discussed. Further, possibilities of analytical determination based on hyphenation of gas or liquid chromatography with FTIR, OES or NMR detection are evaluated. The part dealing with inorganic contaminants introduces requirements for trace inorganic analysis and deals with flow injection analysis, speciation of elements by electrochemical methods and by gas chroamtography, and with applications of liquid chromatography and other techniques.
