- Kolokvium je určeno pro studenty odborné i učitelské fyziky. Jeho obsahem je rozbor historických témat s cílem osvojení historického vývoje fyzikálních teorií. Vyžadována je aktivní účast studentů prostřednictvím referátů k vybraným klíčovým tématům historie fyziky - viz osnova předmětu.
- Syllabus
- The role of history of physics in teaching physics. Physical and astronomical knowledge in ancient Greece. Ptolemy's geocentric theory. Copernicus' heliocentric theory. Galileo's mechanics. Definition of the fundamental terms in the Newton mechanics.Stability of the solar system and the three body problem. The principles of the particle and wave theory of light.The field conceptions of Faraday and Maxwell. The special and the general theory of relativity. Origin, consequences and verification. Photoelectric and Compton effects. Black Body Radiation, the relations. Classical theories of atomic structure, interpretation of the spectrum. Formulations of the quantum theory. Artificial radioactivity, transmutations of elements. Discovery of galaxies. Hubble's law.
