Course objectives
This course is to organize knowledge related to public administration and administrative organization of the Czech Republic. It asks for seminar form and also relatively small collective of students is necessary.
Syllabus
  • 1. – 3. Administration agenda and administration law 4. – 6. Reform (modernization) of public administration according to OECD: depolitization, system of personal growth and stability, attempts to measure the effectiveness, transfer of selected agendas outside the office etc. 7. Development of spatial administrative organization of the Czech lands I 8. Development of spatial administrative organization of the Czech lands II 9. NUTS 10. Contemporary regional system 11. Administrative system of municipalities with extended authority and authorized municipal offices 12. Following phase of reform 13. Disproportion between administrative division of the Czech Republic and NUTS
