- Course objectives
- Basic laboratory works (filtration, crystallization, distillation, extraction, vacuum sublimation, volumetric methods) as well as determination of physicochemical constants of compounds are exercised. At the end of this course students should by able to perform simple chemical operations on one's own

- Introduction, operational safety, laboratory equipment
- Demonstrations of more complicated apparatuses
- Practical exercises of basic operations e.g. distillation, filtration,acid-base titration etc.
