Course objectives
Lecture enable the students to get a basic knowledge on the slope failures from the interdisciplinary point of view (engineering and quatenary geology, geomorphology, etc.)
Learning outcomes
The absolvent of the course will then:
- have a general overview of the slope failure research;
- be able to identify slope failures in the field;
- get a basic praxis in the field-research methods;

  • 1. Slope failures - types and processes. 2. Basic methods of slope failures research. 3. Slope movements dynamics. 4. Slope failures as natural hazard. 5. Field trip (2 days)
