                          Amendment of CEITEC MU Organisational Structure

                                 (effective as of 1 January 2018)

Pursuant to Art. 7.2 f) of the Rules of Organisation of Central European Institute of Technology of
Masaryk University (hereinafter the “Rules of Organisation”), I hereby issue the following measure:

Article 1

Subject Matter

This measure sets the organisational amendment of the CEITEC MU Institute structure and also
accordingly amends Measure of the Director No. 3/2016 CEITEC MU Organisational Structure.

Article 2

Organisational Change

On the effectiveness date of this Measure:

a) the Panagiotis Alexiou Research Group within the Centre for Molecular Medicine shall be created,

b) the New Generation Sequencing Bioinformatics worksite shall be transferred from the Centre for
Structural Biology to Centre for Molecular Medicine.

Article 3

Amendment of Measure of the Director No. 3/2016 CEITEC MU Organisational Structure

(1)  The wording “New Generation Sequencing Bioinformatics” in Article 2.1, a) (B) of Measure of
the Director No. 3/2016 CEITEC MU Organisational Structure shall be omitted.


(2)  The bullet point “Panagiotis Alexiou Research Group” in Article 2.1, c) (A) of Measure of the
Director No. 3/2016 CEITEC MU Organisational Structure shall be added.


(3)  The bullet point “New Generation Sequencing Bioinformatics” in Article 2.1, c) (B) of Measure
of the Director No. 3/2016 CEITEC MU Organisational Structure shall be added.


Article 5

Final Provisions

(1)  The Head of Director’s Office shall be responsible for the interpretation of this Measure as
well as execution of complete version of Measure No. 3/2016 CEITEC MU Organisational Structure as
implied by Articles 2 and 3 of this Measure.


(2)  The Head of Director’s Office shall be responsible for the supervision over the compliance
with this Measure.


(3)  This Measure shall become valid as of the date of signature hereof.



(4)  This Measure shall become effective as of 1 January 2018.
