of the Central European Institute of Technology of Masaryk University
No. 8/2021
Guarantors of Personal Data Processing
(effective as of 1 August 2021)
Pursuant to Art. 7.4 g) of the Rules of Organisation of the Central European Institute of
Technology of Masaryk University, I hereby issue the following measure:
Article 1
Introductory Provisions
This Measure implements the Directive of Masaryk University No. 1/2018 - Personal Data
Processing and Protection.
Article 2
Guarantors of Personal Data Processing
(1) The role of guarantors of personal data processing at CEITEC MU is performed with
respect to various areas of data processing by the persons listed in the Annex hereof.
In the case of processing activities that are not contained in the Annex hereof, the role
of guarantor shall be performed by the head of the workplace within the scope of whose
activities the relevant processing is being performed.
(2) Only guarantors of personal data processing are authorized to enter data in the Data
Processing Register in the sense of the MU Directive.
(3) The head of the Operations Department intermediates contacts of the guarantors with
the Personal Data Protection Officer.
Article 3
Final Provisions
(1) The head of the Operations Department shall be responsible for the interpretation of
this Measure.
(2) The deputy director for administrative matters shall be responsible for the supervision
over the compliance with this Measure.

(4) This Measure shall become valid as of the execution date hereof.

(5) This Measure shall become effective as of 1 August 2021.
