                          Amendment of CEITEC MU Organisational Structure

                                 (effective as of 1 January 2023)

Pursuant to Article 7.4 g) of the Rules of Organisation of the Central European Institute of
Technology of Masaryk University (the “Rules of Organisation”), I hereby issue the following
measure:

Article 1

Organisational Change

This Measure determines the organisational change in the structure of the CEITEC MU institute. It
further implements the appropriate amendment to the Director’s Measure No. 3/2016 “Organisational
Structure of CEITEC MU”.

Article 2

Organisational Change

(1) As of January 1, 2023, the workplaces „Biomoleculer Interaction and Crystallization Core
Facility“ and „X-ray Diffraction and Bio-SAXS Core Facility“ of the Centre for Structural Biology
are merging.


(2) The workplace created by the merger according to par. 1) will use the name "Biomolecular
Interactions and Crystallography Core Facility” and the official abbreviation „CF BIC“.

Article 3

Amendment to the Director’s Measure No. 3/2016 “Organisational Structure of CEITEC MU”

(1) In Art. 2.1 a) of section A point B of the Director’s Measure No. 3/2016 “Organisational
Structure of CEITEC MU”, the indents “Biomolecular Interaction and Crystallization Core Facility
(official abbreviation „CF BIC“)“ and “X-ray Diffraction and Bio-SAXS Core Facility (official
abbreviation „CF X-ray“)” shall be deleted.


(2) In Art. 2.1 a) of section A point B of the Director’s Measure No. 3/2016 “Organisational
Structure of CEITEC MU”, new indent „Biomolecular Interactions and Crystallography Core Facility
(official abbreviation „CF BIC“)“ shall be added.

Article 4

Final Provisions

(1)  The Head of the Director’s Office shall be responsible for the interpretation of this Measure
and for the execution of the full wording of the amended Measure No. 3/2016 “Organisational
Structure of CEITEC MU”, as per Art. 2 and 3 hereof.


(2)  The Head of the Director’s Office shall be responsible for the supervision over the compliance
with this Measure.


(3)  This Measure shall become valid as of the execution date hereof.


(4)  This Measure shall become effective as of 1 January 2023.
