International Summer School of “Russian and International legal systems” (in English) Concept 27 June – 03 July 2017, Moscow (Moscow Region), Russia. Organizer: Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSAL) The International Cooperation Office jointly with Scientific activity organization Office International Summer School is: • professional academic program for future lawyers, economists and sociologists aspiring to get deep knowledge in the wide circle of legal questions; • possibility for students of economic and legal professions to get acquainted with related fields of knowledge, to adopt international experience and to participate in the development of new professional contacts; • an educational platform where there is formation of new interdisciplinary knowledge and skills actual for a contemporary specialist; • joint work of young scientists and teachers from different countries, facilitating international researches in the field of law, the integration of young researchers in international professional and scientific community; • place of meeting of young active people aspiring to use summer holidays not only for rest, but also for perfection of their professional knowledge. The goal of Summer school: to unify foreign and Russian participants of the arrangement for an open discussion of actual questions and problems of contemporary law in the international context. Tasks: • formation of the complex competencies required for effective professional activity in the field of law; 2 • development of interdisciplinary knowledge and skills; • information exchange on cultural and legal cooperation; • study the features of the legal development of the modern European States; • expansion of scientific cooperation of young scientists of different countries. The working language is English. Target group – international and Russian students of humanitary, economical and legal faculties, master students, graduate students, young specialists. Maximal amount of school participants – 20 people. Time and venue: 27 June - 03 July 2017, Russia, Moscow, Moscow region, "Pokrovskoe" hotel complex. The day of arrival of the School participants - June 27, 2017 (14.00) departure day July 03, 2017 (12.00). Accommodation and food in the Summer school: 2-bedded room with all facilities, meals – Breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee breaks on days of sessions. Kalinichenko Summarizing the work of the School will be held in the framework of the Round table (in the format of scientific discussion), providing a platform for active communication between the School members. 3 During the training, students will be able to obtain current information about trends and forecasts the legal development of individual countries and regions of Russia and countries of the European Union, the impact of cultural, social and legal diversity in the formation and development of relevant areas of international practices, to improve their language knowledge and skills, to visit a number of high-profile organizations. The part of classes is held in the form of trainings, seminars, business games. It allows the participants not only to strengthen theoretic knowledge on the practice but also develop creative thinking and communicative skills and create new non-standard ideas and decisions. A particular attention within the School is paid to informal communication, there are facilities to explore the culture and traditions of our country. Training outcomes in the Summer school: participation in the work of School will allow students to expand their ideological horizons, to obtain relevant information and to deepen knowledge in matters of law, to acquire the experience of participation in trainings and business games to improve language knowledge and skills, expand your professional network of contacts, identify new research directions, learn more about the history and culture of the country. According to the results of training, each participant receives a personal certificate (in English) of 5.0 academic credits (ECTS). The cost of participation in the Summer school: 500 € /person. The price includes: • visa support (preparation of a personal invitation); • accommodation in 2-bed room vacation homes in the period 27 June -03 July 2017; • transfer of participants to the hotel "Pokrovskoe" from/to the airport. • Breakfast; • Lunches; • dinners; • coffee breaks; • educational program (34 Acad. hours); • training materials in electronic form; • a certificate of graduation; 4 • the excursion program (2 sightseeing tours). The price does not include: • consular fee for the visa; • medical insurance; • transportation expenses of participants for travel to the University and back. Terms of participation in the Summer school: 1. Requirements to personal qualities of students: motivation, active life position, results oriented. 2. Requirements to owning language: English language. 3. Students, undergraduates, graduate students of humanitarian, economic and law faculties, PhD students, young scientists interested in raising the level of professional competence are invited to participate in the School. 4. The electronic requests on participation are adopted till 30 April 2017. The procedure of request and signing of the Contract for participation in the Summer school: 1. Sending of completed applications electronically to the address of the School organizers on the above date. 2. Consideration of the application by the organizers of the School (within 7 working days) and reply to the Applicant together with submitting the completed Agreement form. 3. The signing of the Contract and send electronic (scanned) copies of the Contract the organizers of the School within 3 calendar days after receiving it. 4. On the basis of the invoice payment of participation in the work of the School in the amount to the account of the University within the time specified in the Contract. 5. Reception of the original invitations (by registered letter) for visa processing from the School organizers. 6. Submission of documents for visa in the nearest Consulate. 7. Visa, trip to Moscow to participate in the work of the School.
