IBM Internship Program 2013
The IBM Delivery Centre team in Brno makes it possible for you to take part in interesting IT
projects within The Internship Program. This program is available from March – June 2013.
IBM Delivery Center Czech Republic Brno is one of the biggest and most diverse IBM centers
of its kind worldwide. Brno centre core activities focus on providing strategic outsourcing services,
remote server and application support, networking services and end customer support.
Asset Management project
You will have the opportunity to become part of Site Operations team and help deploy asset
management system into production. You will gather missing information about asset and seat
allocations within the company and transform them into usable data for the newly developed
tool.
Additionally, you will use your expertise in business process management to setup new
business processes and improve currently used processes with regard to use of the new tool.
It is expected that you will introduce new ways of using the tool and suggest improvements to
the basic functionality. You will learn about the internal process setup of the company and will
gain valuable experience in utilizing soft-skills.
Skills required:
• basic knowledge of MS Excel (or open source alternative)
• basic knowledge of Business Process Management (BPMN is advantage)
• understanding management by competencies
• communication and negotiation skills
• pro-active approach, responsibility
You will have the opportunity to:

Working hours are flexible, ideally 20 - 30 hrs per week. Detailed description of internship will be
given at the interview.
