Associate Analyst (paid position)
We are looking for talented individuals to join our company which is supplying leading antivirus products
to over 150+ million users worldwide. Our products are used globally from America to Australia. AVG is
a NYSE listed company (NYSE:AVG).
Talented candidate will participate on:
- Analysis and definition of processes and internal information systems functions in order to
support worldwide Sales, Marketing and Business development by fulfilling all connected
financial, legal and other requirements
- Analysis of problems related to reoccurring incidents – being aware of workaround, participation
on root cause analyses, setting up priority, category, domain and influence
- Fulfillment of change owner role for application changes - an assigned change owner is
coordinating implementation of system changes through the whole development lifecycle
- Assisting to business analysts and participate on project related documents and deliverables
including meeting minutes, documentation, UML and process model design and redrawing
- Requirements and use case analysis by shadowing of skilled business IT analysts
- Fulfilling of other assigned tasks typical for this role

You can see and learn ITIL, UML, requirement analysis, application support, SDLC in praxis. You can
also improve your business English and communication skills. You will get training by doing. You can get
real life experience from Business Analysts’ Team as a part of Program Management Department in AVG
Technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (IT/System Engineering/Business Informatics is an advantage)
- Communicative knowledge of English (spoken and written), Czech language is an advantage
- Ability to communicate and translate business subject matter into technical language
- Basic knowledge of UML
- Basic experience with CASE tools (e.g. Enterprise Architect)
- An active listener able to listen well and ask clarifying questions when needed
- A good technical writer able to write simply, clearly and unambiguously
- Active member of the team, who supports others
- Stress-resistant character – independent, reliable and communicative
