IBM Internship Program 2013/2014
IBM Delivery Centre team in Brno makes it possible for you to take part in interesting
projects within The Internship Program. This program is available from October 2013 –
February/March 2014.
IBM Delivery Center Czech Republic Brno is one of the biggest and most diverse IBM
centers of its kind worldwide. Brno centre core activities focus on providing strategic
outsourcing services, remote server and application support, networking services and end
customer support.
Consolidation Project
Within our department – command center, we support customers across the world, mainly in USA,
Canada, UK and Europe, Latin America and Asia. After some learning period you will be be assigned to
central shift team project "Consolidation of team documentation" where you will actively cooperate with
your mentor and team´s focal points on revision, updates, simplification and conjunction of our team
documentation into one place. The goal is to have only one global documentation that will increase quality
of our work and searching the documents and as consequence quality of service for our customers.
Description of roles:
Your work will include mainly: communication with mentor & other team members; work with databases
and related tools; planning meetings with your colleagues & mentors; reporting of progress to Manager
and Team leader; As a benefit we offer you: participation on meetings with Manager and Team leader improvement
of your soft skills (communication, presentation skills, leading the meetings...); work in global
multicultural company; improvement of English language skills.
Skills required:
Very good documentation skills; English on communicative level; Basic knowledge of www pages creation
and navigation; Knowledge of basic technical terms.
