Visitor Management System The goal of the internship is to analyze existing solutions, design and create a prototype implementation of an application for building visitors self-check-in. The intern will be able to demonstrate and improve his/her technical, legal and soft skills. The intern will cooperate with a supervisor on Y Soft side, Operations department, security analyst(s), and UX expert(s). During the internship, the student will:  Compare existing solutions in terms of price, license, features, operating systems, hardware required.  Analyze and take into consideration requirements (e.g., on admin/visitor UI, reporting, visitors details) provided by a supervisor on a Y Soft side.  Consider security (e.g., prevent visitors from closing the application or switching it to other application while it is running), legal (e.g., w.r.t. Act No. 101/2000 Coll., on the Protection of Personal Data) and technical aspects (e.g., hardware to be used).  Design and implement the prototype application.  Test the prototype in terms of its robustness, responsiveness (e.g., how much time it takes to generate reports), processor and memory usage. There is a possibility to work on a master thesis with the same topic. The internship is paid. The internship is realized in Y Soft Corporation a.s. Y Soft is continuously collaborating with students on topics from different fields (e.g., ICT security, distributed systems, mobile platforms and applications, software engineering).
