Competent for most invasive and non-invasive procedures involved in critical care (airway management including punctured and surgical tracheostomy, different modes of ventilation, use of ultrasound in ICU, haemodynamic monitoring as PICCO, PAC, Lidco, TOE etc.). This ICU is also highly involved in Czech organ donation system taking care after 20-40 organ donors a year on average. 1/2004 – 1/2005 worked as a registrar for IC in 28-bedded ICU in Liverpool Hospital, Sydney, Australia, with averaged 1100 admissions a year. Liverpool Hospital is high profile Australian trauma centre with frequent multiple trauma admissions. Six beds out of 28 are dedicated for cardio-thoracic patients. ICU registrars also share the Medical Emergency Team leadership position during their shifts. 9/2005 – 3/2006 working as a fellow in AITU, Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham, UK Anaesthetic experience: Thoracic surgery subspecialty of main interest.
