20 th Annual Meeting,Brno, Czech Republic
Dear friends!
On behalf of the European Society of Pediatric Clinical research (ES-PCR, previously
known as Pediatric Research of Central European Countries) we are pleased to invite you
to register for 20th Annual Meeting.
The Society was conceived almost two decades ago to bring together faculty members and
their younger colleagues interested in pediatric clinical research. The idea was very
successful, with new contacts and common research programs initiated. Two years ago,
during the meeting in Innsbruck the working group decided to transform itself by
establishing the European Society of Pediatric Clinical Research.
The Jubilee 20th Annual meeting of ES-PCR is scheduled on July, 1st
in Brno under the
auspices of the Czech Pediatric Society, The Medical School of Masaryk University Brno.
Arrival is expected Thursday, June 30th
, afternoon. Research groups from pediatric
departments in Austria, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia and Czech Republic are
kindly invited to present scientific results of their recent pediatric research. Symposium is
composed from oral presentations, ten minutes each, followed by 10 minutes for
discussion, and separate poster session. Official language of the ESPR meeting is English.
No simultaneous translation is provided.
We look forward to welcome you in Brno, the place, where Johann Gregor Mendel, Viktor
Kaplan and Leoš Janacek lived and worked. Brno (http://www2.brno.cz/index.php?lan=en)
is the second largest city in Czech Republic and is full of historical and cultural treasures.
The venue for the meeting and accommodation is in National Health Sciences Centre
(NCONZO) Vinarska street No 6. Remarkably, it is in walking distance from the Johan
Gregor Mendel Monastery, where we are happy to host official dinner of the meeting Friday
July 1st
