CEITEC – Středoevropský technologický institut, Masarykova univerzita a Moravská galerie si Vás dovolují pozvat na workshop NEUROMODULATORY ACTIONS OF CANNABINOIDS Přednášející: Carsten T. Wotjak, Head, RG: Neuronal Plasticity, Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry, Munich, Germany Alexandra Šulcová, CEITEC MU, RG Leader, Centre for Neuroscience Vincenzo Micale, Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry, RG: Neuronal Plasticity, Munich, Germany Kdy: 26. ledna 2012 od 15:00 hod Kde: přednáškový sál, Uměleckoprůmyslové muzeum, Husova 14, Brno Akce je organizována v rámci projektu OP VK BRAINS (reg. č. CZ.1.07/2.3.00/20.0041). Programme: 1. Carsten T. Wotjak (Head, RG: Neuronal Plasticity, Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry, Munich, Germany) As fear goes by - Role of endocannabinoids in coping with aversive encounters 2. Alexandra Šulcová (CEITEC MU, RG Leader, Centre for Neuroscience) Behavioural effects of cannabinoid receptor ligands 3. Vincenzo Micale (Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry, RG: Neuronal Plasticity, Munich, Germany: Extinction of avoidance behavior by safety learning depends on endocannabinoid signaling Annotation: Both preclinical and clinical investigations of the therapeutic use of cannabinoids are now more prevalent than at any time in history. Interest in cannabinoid therapeutics is a result of the discovery of the regulatory Endocannabinoid System existing in all animals and human who make and use internally produced cannabis-like products (endocannabinoids) as part of the evolutionary harm reduction program. Endocannabinoids homeostatically regulate all body systems (cardiovascular, digestive, endocrine, excretory, immune, musculoskeletal, reproductive, and nervous). At least some cannabinoids, is likely to have important health benefits for people suffering from neurological and psychiatric disorders. The workshop presents results received by research groups from "Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry, Munich, Germany" and "CEITEC Masaryk University, Brno" who are interested in pharmacological exploitation of the endocannabinoid system on animal models of behavioural disorders such as anxiety, depression, drug addiction and stress-induced psychopathology. MOŽNOST NÁVŠTĚVY SOUČASNÉ VÝSTAVY "OBRAZY MYSLI/MYSL V OBRAZECH" za zvýhodněné vstupné 50 Kč.
