Measure of the Dean of the Faculty of Informatics of Masaryk University No. 3/2017 Repeating the Bachelor State Final Examination (as amended with effect from 22 February 2017) Pursuant to Section 28(1) of Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education Institutions and on Amendments and Additions to Other Acts (the Higher Education Act), as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "Higher Education Act"), I issue the following measure: Article 1 Corrective dates of bachelor's SZZ (1) This measure, in accordance with Article 22 of the Study and Examination Regulations of Masaryk University, regulates the method of repeating the state final examination (hereinafter referred to as the "SFE") in the event of failure in bachelor's degree programmes. (2) A student who fails the state final examination in the spring semester but defends the bachelor's thesis is obliged to repeat the final examination in the same semester. Make-up exam dates will be included in the registration period for the following semester. (3) In all other cases, students who are unsuccessful in the CSR will take a remedial CSR during the CSR period of the next semester. Article 2 Application for the corrective bachelor SZZ (1) A student will be automatically registered to repeat an unsuccessful undergraduate CCE in the same semester under Article 1, paragraph (1) after the end of the state registration period of the spring semester in which the CCE took place. Article 3 Final provision (1) I hereby delegate the interpretation of the individual provisions of this measure to the Vice-Dean for Bachelor's and Master's Studies. (2) I entrust the Vice-Dean for Bachelor's and Master's Studies with the continuous updating. (3) I hereby delegate the control of compliance with this measure to the Study Department.
