Measure of the Dean of the Faculty of Informatics of Masaryk University No. 6/2017 The possibility of repeating courses for doctoral students (as amended on 19 September 2017) Pursuant to Section 28(1) of Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education Institutions and on Amendments and Additions to Other Acts (the Higher Education Act), as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "Higher Education Act"), I issue the following measure: Article 1 Subject of modification (1) In accordance with Article 8 (5) of the MU Study and Examination Regulations, I authorise students of the FI doctoral study programme to repeat the courses listed below and to accumulate the credits thus obtained: · Dissertation preparation · Preparation of the publication · Informatics Colloquium · Informatics seminar · Teaching assistance · Foreign language lecture · Foreign internship · Research and development team management · Academic Writing in English · English for Academic Purposes (post-graduate) · Management of bachelor's/diploma thesis · Research project in embedded system design · Formal methods in theory and practice · Quantum information processing methods · Computer graphics and image processing methods · Computer network methods · Digital data processing methods · Enterprise IT systems and services · Advanced natural language processing and artificial intelligence methods · Advances in concurrency · Research project in computer security · Subject from another university · Lecture by a foreign expert · Working Seminar on Formal Models, Discrete Structures and Algorithms Article 2 Final provisions (1) This measure repeals Dean's Measure No. 3/2012 on the possibility of repeating courses for doctoral students. (2) I entrust the interpretation of the individual provisions and the continuous updating of this measure to the Head of the Research, Development and Doctoral Studies Department of the Faculty of Informatics.
