Scholarship program to support the creative activities of
students of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Masaryk University
(As amended with effect from 25 May 2021)
In accordance with Section 28, Paragraph 1 of Act No. 111/1998 Coll., On Higher
Education Institutions and on Amendments to Other Acts (Act on Higher Education
Institutions), as amended (hereinafter referred to as the “Higher Education Act”) and the
Scholarship Regulations of Masaryk University (hereinafter referred to as "SR MU"), This
measure is issued by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Masaryk University
(hereinafter referred to as "FaF MU"):
Article 1
Introductory provisions
(1) This measure announces a scholarship program to support creative activities of FaF MU
students and regulates the conditions and procedure for awarding scholarships in
accordance with this program.
(2) The scholarship program to support students' creative activities specified in this
measure shall be announced with effect from the date of entry into force of this
measure for an indefinite period.
(3) The general conditions and procedure for awarding scholarships to MU students are
regulated by the MU Scholarship Regulations.
Article 2
Scholarship program to support students' creative activities
(1) The purpose of the scholarship program is to support and further develop creative
activities of outstanding students of FaF MU.
(2) Scholarships to support creative activities may be awarded to students studying at FaF
MU in master's and doctoral study programs in Czech and English.
(3) The scholarship to support creative activity may be awarded to:
a) students who achieved the 1st-3rd place within a Student Scientific Conference
(hereinafter referred to as "SVK") held at FaF MU;
b) students involved in specific research, research projects, research centres and
activities related to the solution of projects and grants;
c) students who are demonstrably involved in creative activities and presentation of
their results at individual institutes and workplaces of FaF MU.
(4) Proposal for granting a scholarship according to:
a) paragraph 3, letter a) submitted by the SVK guarantor;
b) paragraph 3, letter b) submitted by the researchers of the projects concerned;

c) paragraph 3, letter c) submitted by the heads of institutes and heads of
departments of the FaF.
(5) The amount of the scholarship:
a) for placement in the SVK (paragraph 3, letter a) it is determined by the guarantor
of the conference on the basis of proposals of the evaluation commission of the
SVK and with regard to the volume of funds allocated for the award of students
within the SVK;
b) for the involvement in research and solution of projects and grants (paragraph 3,
letter b) it is governed by the rules of the respective project and must be approved
by the manager of the contract, through which the given activity at the faculty is
realized, budgeted and accounted for;
c) for participation in scientific research activities at the workplaces of FaF MU
(paragraph 3, letter c) it is determined by the Scholarship Commission of FaF MU
with regard to the proposal and justification of the submitter.
(6) The source of funding for the scholarship program to support students' creative
activities is the FaF MU Scholarship Fund, income from fees for studying in foreign
language study programs, subsidies for specific research, other resources of the
faculty intended for creative activities, donations from persons outside MU, or another
contract through which the activity is carried out.
(7) The decision on the award of a scholarship to support a creative activity shall be issued
no later than 30 days from the submission of the proposal for its award.
(8) The scholarship to support a creative activity is paid within 30 days of the entry into
legal force of the decision.
Article 3
Final provisions
(1) I entrust the Vice-Dean for Research, Doctoral Studies and Technology Transfer
with the interpretation of the individual provisions of this measure.
(2) I entrust the control of compliance with this measure, its implementation and
possible updating to the FaF MU Scholarship Commission.
(3) This measure shall enter into force on the date of signature.
(4) This measure shall enter into force on 25 May 2021.
