ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL REGULATIONS
HUME LAB – EXPERIMENTAL HUMANITIES LABORATORY
In accordance with § 28, Paragraph 1 of Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education
Institutions and on Modification and Amendment of Other Acts (Higher Education Act), as
later amended (hereinafter referred to as the “Act”), I issue the following Measure:
Section 1
Introductory provisions
HUME Lab – Experimental Humanities Laboratory is a special purpose unit of the Faculty
of Arts of Masaryk University established with the aim of ensuring excellent quality of
research in the humanities and the effective association of high-quality technological
equipment with guaranteed professional staff.
Section 2
Announcement of the Organizational Regulations
I hereby announce the Organizational Regulations of the HUME Lab Experimental
Humanities Laboratory (hereinafter referred to as the “HUME Lab”). The text of the
Organizational Regulations of the unit is set out in Annex No. 1 to this measure.
Section 3
Final provisions
(1) This measure builds on the Organizational Regulations of the Faculty of Arts of
Masaryk University, dated 17 December 2019, effective from 1 January 2020.
(2) I hereby delegate the continuous updating of this measure to the Head of HUME
Lab.
(3) I hereby delegate the interpretation of the individual provisions of this measure to
the Head of HUME Lab.
(4) I hereby delegate the checking of compliance with the regulation to the Faculty
Bursar.
(5) This measure comes into force upon signature.
(6) This measure comes into effect on 1 April 2020.
