SETTING THE AMOUNT OF STUDY-RELATED FEES FOR THE
ACADEMIC YEAR 2017/2018
(as amended with effect from 1 September 2017)
In accordance with § 28, Paragraph 1 of Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education
Institutions and on Modification and Amendment of Other Acts (Higher Education Act), as
later amended (hereinafter referred to as the “Act”), I issue the following Measure:
Section 1
Setting the amount of application fees
(1) Pursuant to the provisions of Section 58(5) of the Higher Education Act and Section 5
of Appendix No. 2 to the Masaryk University Statutes (hereinafter referred to as the
“MU Statutes”), I hereby set the application fees for the 2017/2018 academic year in
accordance with Section 58(1) of the Higher Education Act and Section 3 of Appendix
No. 2 to the MU Statutes:

(2) Pursuant to the provisions of Section 58(5) of the Higher Education Act and Section 5
of Appendix No. 2 to the MU Statutes, I hereby set the application fees for studies in
a foreign language for the 2017/2018 academic year in accordance with Section
58(4) of the Higher Education Act and Section 4 of Appendix No. 2 to the MU
Statutes:

Section 2
Setting the amount of tuition fees in a degree program conducted in a foreign language
(1) Pursuant to the provisions of Section 58(5) of the Higher Education Act and Section
13 of Appendix No. 2 to the MU Statutes, for the 2017/2018 academic year I hereby
set the tuition fees in a degree program conducted in a foreign language in
accordance with Section 58(4) of the Higher Education Act and Section 12 of
Appendix No. 2 to the MU Statutes for each academic year:

(2) The Dean may reduce or waive the fees in cases worthy of consideration, in
agreement with the doctoral board of the relevant degree program.
Section 3
Final provisions
(1) I hereby delegate the interpretation of the individual provisions of this measure to the
Vice-Dean for Admissions and Program Development.
(2) Compliance with this measure is checked by the Faculty Bursar.
(3) This measure comes into force on the date of its publication.
(4) This measure comes into effect on 1 September 2017.
