1/2 Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University Measure No. 1/2019 ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE FACULTY SCHOOL STATUTES OF THE FACULTY OF ARTS OF MASARYK UNIVERSITY In accordance with § 28, Paragraph 1 of Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education Institutions and on Modification and Amendment of Other Acts (Higher Education Act), as later amended (hereinafter referred to as the “Act”), I issue the following Measure: Part One Background and objectives of the regulation The Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University is aware of the need for close cooperation between universities, primary and secondary schools, which is an important prerequisite for the high-quality education of future teachers, the support of exceptionally talented secondary school students, and the implementation of lifelong learning projects for teachers based on practice. If the education and training of teachers (faculty graduates) is to really be the best, it is necessary that, during their studies, students complete teaching practice in selected schools or other educational institutions which guarantee the comprehensive and high-quality teaching of courses in the specializations studied at the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University. Therefore, the Faculty of Arts will confer the designation “faculty school of the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University” to selected exceptionally high-quality primary schools, secondary schools, or educational institutions. Part Two Announcement of the Statutes I hereby announce the Faculty School Statutes of the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University. The text of the statutes is attached as Appendix No. 1 to this measure. Part Three Final provisions (1) I hereby delegate the continuous updating of the regulations to the Vice-Dean for Admissions and Programme Development. (2) I hereby delegate the interpretation of the individual provisions of this measure to the Vice-Dean for Admissions and Programme Development.
