Section 2 Purpose and duration of the scholarship program (1) The purpose of the scholarship program is to motivate students of the faculty to participate in the integration of technology into teaching at the FF MU , to achieve the widest possible implementation of teaching in this way, and thus participate in improving the quality of teaching. (2) These activities are coordinated by the E-learning Office of the Centre for Information Technologies of the FF MU (hereinafter referred to as the “CIT EO”). (3) The scholarship program is hereby announced for an indefinite period from the entry into effect of this measure. Section 3 Source of funding for the scholarship program The source of funding for scholarships is the faculty’s Scholarship Fund or other sources listed in the valid order code. Section 4 Conditions for awarding scholarships (1) The scholarships will be awarded to a student if the following conditions are met: a) they are a student of a Bachelor’s, Master’s or doctoral degree program implemented by the FF MU in the full-time or combined mode of study; b) the student participates in a project within the Program to Support the Use of Technology in Teaching, which is periodically announced by the CIT EO at the FF MU. The student’s involvement and the subsequent remuneration is based on the indication of their name in the project form/application, or in the final report of the project within the Program to Support the Use of Technology in Teaching; c) the student will cooperate in the integration of technology into teaching according to the instructions of the respective project investigator; d) the student completes all assigned tasks within the project; e) the student can participate in different projects investigated by different researchers. (2) The proposal for the scholarship is submitted within the Program to Support the Use of Technology in Teaching by the project investigator, always an academic staff member of the FF MU, who also proposes the amount of the scholarship in relation to the level of involvement in the project. (3) When submitting proposals for the award of the scholarship, the project investigator takes into account the extent, quality, and timeliness of the fulfilment of the requirements set out in the project by individual students, and also takes these facts into account in any proposed amount of the scholarship. Participation in project tasks does not automatically entitle the student to the award of a scholarship. (4) At the proposal of the investigator, the same student may be awarded the scholarship associated with participation in one project repeatedly. Section 5 Amount of the scholarship, award and payment of the scholarship (1) The amount of the scholarship for individual students is proposed by the submitter, taking into account the fact that a total amount of at least CZK 10,000 to a maximum of CZK 30,000 can be paid in scholarships within a single project implemented under the Program to Support the Use of Technology in Teaching. (2) The scholarship is paid on pre-announced dates up to 4 times a year at the request of the project investigator. In exceptional and justified cases, the scholarship may be paid outside these dates. (3) The scholarship award decision is made in electronic form and has a digital signature. The decision is delivered to the student via the IS MU Document Office.
