PROHIBITION OF BRINGING WEAPONS AND
DANGEROUS OBJECTS INTO BUILDINGS OF
FACULTY OF ARTS, MASARYK UNIVERSITY
In accordance with § 28, Paragraph 1 of Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education
Institutions and on Modification and Amendment of Other Acts (Higher Education Act), as
later amended (hereinafter referred to as the “Act”), I issue the following Instruction:
Section 1
Subject and purpose of regulation
(1) This instruction sets out the rules for ensuring the safety and health protection of
employees and students of the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University (hereinafter
referred to as "FF MU"), as well as the public staying in the premises of the FF MU.
Section 2
Definition of terms
(1) FF MU buildings are defined as:
a) buildings with local designation A, B1, B2, C, D, E, F on the premises at Arna Nováka
1/1, 602 00 Brno;
b) building with local designation G at Gorkého 57/7, 602 00 Brno;
c) building with local designation J at Jaselská 201/18, 602 00 Brno;
d) building with local designation N at Janáčkovo nám. 654/2a, 602 00 Brno;
e) building with local designation K, L at Veveří 26/28, 602 00 Brno;
f) building with local designation M at Joštova 220/13, 662 43 Brno;
g) premises of the scientific research station of the Department of Archaeology and
Museology of the FF MU Pohansko at Pohansko 2332, 690 02 Břeclav;
h) premises of the scientific research station of the Department of Archaeology and
Museology of the FF MU Panská Lhota at Panská Lhota no. 31, 588 32 Brtnice;
i) premises of the scientific research station of the Department of Archaeology and
Museology of the FF MU Těšetice-Kyjovice, cadastral area Kyjovice, district Znojmo.
Section 3
Prohibition of entry of armed persons and bringing dangerous objects
(1) All FF MU buildings may not be entered by armed persons with the exception of
members of the security forces who are authorised to perform duty in the building.
(2) It is forbidden for any person to enter with objects that are capable of endangering
life, health or order.
Section 4
Final provisions
(1) I authorize the Faculty Bursar to interpret the individual provisions hereof.
(2) Compliance with this Instruction shall be inspected by the Faculty Bursar.
(3) This Instruction shall enter into force upon signature.
(4) This Instruction shall enter into effect on the date of publication in the public part of
the Masaryk University website.
