You will be divided into one group. Each group will be consisted from 3 people. Your main goal is
to create process definitions (text description + process diagram) of one complete (product)
business process. In other words, procurement, manufacturing, order handling etc. will be involved.


You will choose one sub-process and create necessary metrics in order to measure and control the
process properly. You will either generate or gather necessary data in order to create a simulation
of the process.


According to the simulation, you will try to optimize the process and describe the optimization
process (how you have created the optimization) thoroughly.


You can choose an existing company and model their process or you can use (create) imaginary
organization (you can use the same one that you are using in EKRP course).


Assessment of the project

The maximum count of the points you can earn is 65. The criteria are:

•     existing (real) company - 10 points

•     quality of project defence - 8 points

•     completeness (degree of detail) of definitions - 18 points

•     correspondence with notation (BPMN) - 12 points

•     measurable sub-process and metrics - 7 points

•     simulation and optimization - 10 points
