• Individual or team work on HCI related research projects
• Each student has a “supervisor” to consult with
• No scheduled lectures/seminars:
• Access to the lab,
• Consultations with project members/leader
• Evaluation:
• Mid-semester presentation
• End-semester presentation
• Results submitted in “homework vault” in IS
• Possibility to enroll repeatedly:
• Long time cooperation
• Bachelor, Master theses
The LAB
• Room A421 (this room :-)
• Normally – open 24/7,

• shared Google calendar
• Equipment:
• Stereoscopic rendering wall
• Full-body Motion Capture setup
• VR headsets – HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Oculus Quest
• 3D scanner, 3D printer
• Haptic feedback device
• Brain-Computer interface devices (e.g. EEG :)

“programming” topics

Your First Task: Choose a Project
1. Choose a project, discuss details with project leader.

a) Ask for enroment permission (via IS)
b) If you asked already, just send us an email with name of
project
3. We will give you permission
• Deadline: 12th March 2021 (including)
• Mandatory condition for enrolment permission
