treatment sessions. Vacuum-compression therapy method affects
vascular tonus and capillary blood supply. The essence of the method
is so-called pneumomassage of a patient extremity placed in airtight
application cylinder. That is done by means of interchange of air
over and under pressure in the cylinder in an automatic mode. Air
tightness is ensured by sealing cup that fits particular extremity size.
Over pressure and under pressure in the cylinder is generated by built-in
compressor. When this method is applied blood circulation in extremity is
improved, perfusion of the extremity significantly increases, development
of new vascular collaterals is supported and metabolism of the extremity
is highly improved.
