Requirements: 10 min presentation in class, a paper at the end of the seminar (ca. 10-15 pages),
regular attendance, participation in the discussions in class, some reading (t.b.a.).

PLEASE NOTE: As the seminars have many participants please restrict your presentation in class to
stay WITHIN the 10 minutes (8 minutes is PERFECT!) – otherwise I would have to interrupt and stop
you in a most unpleasant way J, because your presentations should give us an impression about the
period only (by introducing an important king, politician etc.), but we have to spend AT LEAST 50
minutes of each 90 minutes session to talk about the CONSTITUTION(S) of the period). Therefore: 8
minutes presentation is perfect, 10 minutes presentation is OK, 11 minutes presentation = NO WAY!)
