   Please prepare a 3-4 page essay response to the statement below:

   

   

   Thus far in the course we have been looking at how anthropologists approach the study of the
   law.  Using texts that have been discussed in class so far, define and discuss what the law is
   for anthropologists and how it should be studied. 

   

   

   Your essay must adhere to the following guidelines:

   

     o You MUST turn your essay in on TIME, IN PRINTED FORM IN CLASS, NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE,
       NO EMAILS SUBMISSION WILL BE GRADED!!!!

     o You MUST discuss at least two articles discussed in class prior to this assignment
     o You MUST follow the essay form discussed in class, i.e. proper argument, style, and
       grammar
     o Please include your name, student ID, and email on EVERY page
     o Please staple all pages together, no paperclips please

     o Proper Form- 25%
     o Quality and Presentation of Argument- 25%
     o Supporting Evidence, i.e., Discussion of Articles, Facts, Ideas- 50%
