Cíle kurzu V kurzu se studenti seznámí s hlavními teoretickými přístupy k bezpečnosti v disciplíně mezinárodních vztahů (MV). Cílem kurzu je stručně představit historický vývoj pojmu bezpečnosti v MV, odlišné způsoby (např. z hlediska pozice aktéra či typu referenčního objektu) konceptualizace tohoto pojmu a demonstrovat propojení tohoto/těchto konceptu/ů s teoriemi MV. To vše s důrazem na energetická témata. Úvod kurzu se zaměřuje dvěma dominantním, tradičním, přístupům k MV, realismu a liberalismu. A dále na nich založených pojetích energetické bezpečnosti, tj. strategickému a tržnímu přístupu. Následující přednášky jsou zaměřeny na revizionistické přístupy k bezpečnosti. Postupně je představen sociální konstruktivismus – coby sociální teorie i systémová teorie mezinárodních vztahů, kodaňská škola a teorie sekuritizace, vybrané koncepty pařížské školy založené na sociologii Pierra Bourdieua, současné interpretace Marxismu, velšská škola kritických bezpečnostních studií, a nakonec nový materialismus, který rozvíjí myšlení Bruno Latoura. Studenti tak získají komplexní vhled do problematiky (energetické) bezpečnosti v teoriích mezinárodních vztahů, který jim umožní s jednotlivými koncepty a teoriemi nakládat informovaným a tvůrčím způsobem. Velmi důležité je přitom zapojení studentů v rámci semináře, v němž si formou diskuse studenti jednotlivé argumenty, koncepty, teorie atd. aktivně osvojují. Po absolvování kurzu by studenti měli být schopni: 1. porozumět obecným charakteristikám jednotlivých přístupů k bezpečnosti v kontextu teorií MV; 2. posoudit využitelnost jednotlivých přístupů ve vztahu k aktuálním problémům proměňujícího se mezinárodního prostředí; 3. použít jednotlivé přístupy ke kritické reflexi a analýze témat v oblasti mezinárodní bezpečnosti a energetické bezpečnosti. Důležité upozornění k podvodnému plnění studijních povinností Výuka na FSS MU předpokládá, že studenti znají studijní předpisy a že se nedopouštějí podvodného plnění studijních povinností, zejména opisování u zkoušek a plagiátorství, tedy vydávání cizích myšlenek za vlastní a přebírání myšlenek jiných autorů bez uvedení autorství. Plagiátorství patří k nejzávažnějším etickým proviněním v akademickém prostředí, popírá poslání univerzity i smysl studia. Z právního hlediska je plagiátorství krádeží cizího duševního vlastnictví. Podvodné plnění studijních povinností nemůže být za žádných okolností na FSS tolerováno. Každý případ podvodného chování bude trestán nejpřísnější sankcí, a to nepodmínečným vyloučením ze studia. Studentům doporučujeme co nejdůkladněji se seznámit s problémem plagiátorství a se způsoby, jak se mu vyhnout. 3 2. Organizace kurzu a podmínky jeho absolvování Kurz proběhne formou přednášek a navazujících seminářů (struktura kurzu detailněji viz dále). Účast na přednáškách je doporučená, nikoli povinná. Aktivita studentů na seminářích bude bodově hodnocena. Každý student přednese prezentaci v rámci některého ze seminářů. Poslední částí hodnocení je závěrečná zkouška (hodnocení detailněji viz dále). Nedílnou součástí kurzu je závěrečná evaluace formou on-line dotazníku. 2.1 Seminář (58 %) Plnohodnotné zapojení studentů do práce v semináři vyžaduje, aby si do každého semináře k danému datu, vypracovali seminární přípravu (position paper) na základě zadané povinné literatury a případně také doporučené a další literatury. Seminární příprava musí mít 3 části: (1) reflexi/polemiku; (2) otázky do diskuse (alespoň tři); a (3) seznam literatury. Příprava bude psána v anglickém jazyce. Příprava zahrne všechny texty zadané v povinné literatuře s výjimkou textů označených jako „pouze četba“. Rozsah části (1) musí být striktně alespoň 3600 znaků včetně mezer (jedná se tedy o minimální rozsah přípravy bez (2) otázek a (3) seznamu literatury). Horní hranice rozsahu části (1) je 4500 znaků včetně mezer. Přípravy budou vypracovány pro setkání (2) až (9) a (11) až (13); tj. celkem 11 příprav. Za přípravu je možné získat nejvýše 3 body (celkem tedy 33 bodů). Svoji přípravu student odešle elektronicky nejpozději 2 dny před konáním semináře (tj. do pondělní půlnoci včetně) do příslušné „odevzdávárny“. Z textu musí být patrné, kdo je autorem, a na který seminář je příprava zpracovávána. Formální požadavky viz vzor v organizačních pokynech. Soubor bude pojmenován v tomto formátu: Prijmeni_cislo (např. Novakova_3). Hodnocena bude také aktivita v semináři. Student může v jednom semináři získat nejvýše 2 body (celkem tedy 22 bodů). Hodnoceny jsou pouze původní příspěvky do debaty, které rozvíjejí a posouvají diskuzi (tj. nikoli příspěvky jako: „To jsem chtěl říct také, myslím, že kolega to vystihl“). 2.3 Prezentace (11 %) Součástí kurzu je prezentace (max. 5 minut), jejímž obsahem bude ukázka aplikace vybrané teorie či konceptu na konkrétní energeticky rámovaný problém. Prezentace by měla sledovat formu konferenčního příspěvku. Musí být zpracována v textové formě (detaily viz níže). K tématům prezentací se studenti přihlásí prostřednictvím online seznamu témat, který jim bude zaslán emailem nejpozději během prvního týdne semestru. Prezentaci je nutné odevzdat nejpozději 2 dny před jejím konáním do příslušné „odevzdávárny“. Rozsah textové formy prezentace by se měl pohybovat cca mezi 5400 až 7200 znaky (bez seznamu literatury). Text bude splňovat standardní formální požadavky kladené na seminární práce. Textová forma prezentace bude v anglickém jazyce. Odevzdání textové formy prezentace je povinné. Soubor bude pojmenován v tomto formátu: Prijmeni_prezentace (např. 4 Novakova_prezentace). Užití Power Pointu či jiných prezentačních nástrojů je možné jen pokud je z hlediska prezentace klíčové zobrazovat grafický materiál (grafy, mapy, obrázky apod.). Za řádně odevzdanou a přednesenou prezentaci lze získat nejvýše 10 bodů. Hodnocení bude reflektovat (1) naplnění daného tématu (4 body), (2) přidanou hodnotu prezentace v porovnání se zadanou literaturou (4 body), (3) prezentaci příspěvku a naplnění formálních požadavků textové jeho formy (2 body). Zbývající studenti jsou povinni se s obsahem prezentace v rámci přípravy seznámit tak, aby byli schopni (v několika bodech) definovat vlastní pozici vůči textu. Povinná literatura nesmí být použita jako jediný hlavní zdroj příspěvku (jedním z účelů prezentace je dohledat k tématu alternativní a doplňující informace). Prezentace proběhnou vždy v úvodu příslušného semináře. Ústní prezentace proběhne v češtině. 2.4 Závěrečná zkouška (32 %) Závěrečná zkouška se bude sestávat z 6 otevřených otázek (každá hodnocena 0–5 body) v rozsahu zadané povinné literatury a odpřednášené látky témat (1) až (9) a (11) až (13). Doba trvání zkoušky je 60 minut. Nejvýše je tak možné získat 30 bodů. Pro úspěšné dokončení kurzu je závěrečnou zkoušku nutné absolvovat alespoň na 33 %, tj. 10 bodů. V případě, že student získá více než 25 bodů, zvýší se jeho celkové hodnocení o jeden stupeň; a to s výjimkou dvou situací: (1) bodový zisk bez této „prémie“ již odpovídá hodnocení A; (2) bodový zisk bez této „prémie“ odpovídá hodnocení F. Termíny zkoušek budou oznámeny v posledním týdnu semestru. Otázky budou zaměřeny především na probírané koncepty/teorie a (typicky) rovněž jejich aplikace na modelový případ. Např.: Vysvětlete koncept sekuritizace a uveďte jeho modelovou aplikaci. 5 2.5 Hodnocení Výsledné hodnocení studenta bude stanoveno na základě součtů bodových zisků z následujících úkolů: (1) aktivita na semináři: 22 bodů (2) seminární příprava: 33 bodů (3) prezentace: 10 bodů (4) závěrečná zkouška: 30 bodů Celkem je možno dosáhnout 95 bodů A – Výborně 88–95 bodů B – Velmi dobře plus 82–87 bodů C – Velmi dobře 77–81 bodů D – Dobře plus 71–76 bodů E – Dobře 60–70 bodů F – Neprospěl méně než 60 bodů 6 3.
