   You have a couple of tasks to prepare for it.   http://www.smic.be/smic5022/

   

   1. Decide on 10 words that you think should be pre-taught. The level should be obvious from
   the material.

   2. Remove the words from the text.  You will have to copy the text and put it into a word
   document, or wordpad, in order to do this.

   3. Now, this reading is a gap fill, where the students have to read the text and complete the
   gaps with the pre-taught vocabulary. So, as the teacher who has prepared this activity, how
   would you set it up (what specfic instructions would you give the students?) Please write your
   instructions on the word document under the text. I would aslo like to know how much time you
   think this activity would last.

   4. After this task has been completed, you will see on the web link that there are some
   comprehension questions for the reading. Write how you would set up this activity (your
   instructions to the students.) Also, how much time do you think this part of the activity will
   take?
