In order to complete this course successfully, you need to meet the following requirements:

1. 80%  attendance  - you can miss 2 classes.
2. Home preparation - the corresponding units in Grammar in Context and your own copy of the extra practice materials.
3. Active participation - the work in the seminars will be based on the units studied before the seminar.
4. 2 progress tests  
   • The results will be added up and the final result must be at least 70%.
   • There is just one attempt, i.e. no re-sits.
   • If you score 90% or more, you will not need to take the final test.
   • If you score less than 70%, you will get N.
5. Portfolio - submission of your COMPLETE portfolio during the interview.
6. Children's book
   • pair work
   • a record of all the examples of a particular grammar feature in a children’s book and explanation of its use.
   • due date for submission in Odevzdávárna: 2 May, 2018
7. Teaching practice task (TPT)
   • a 10-15 sentence written summary from your lesson observation 
   • due date for submission in Odevzádávárna:  2 May, 2018
8. Interviews - discussion over your portfolio, teaching practice task and children’s book with your teacher.
9. Final test - covering all topics and units covered in the course with pass mark 70%
